Eighth Connection: Anything with Eyes on It

Another of the unwritten rules was NO to “anything with eyes on it”. Identifying and reacting to this limit has been useful and fruitful for me. Here in a detail from my series of Twilight drawings from 1997 (unrelated to the popular movie and fiction series)- eyes are part of a flower form inspired by a pansy that appears to be growing or attached to a human hand covered in an unexplained texture- feathers? Bark?
