Twenty-ninth Connection: Finite Limits

Playing with negative space between the two store front windows in this temporary installation, Ask Pay (part of CAGE Art in the Windows project c1993). I was thinking about the questions I might ask myself after learning the price of something (how much do I want it? Is it worth the cost? ) and then enlarging the scope to questions of mortality. Within the finite limits of a single human life – what do I/you/we most want? How do we determine what the price is and how to pay it?
